Maintenance:
Remove general surface dirt from the aluminium frame using warm soapy water and rinse with a hose and a non-abrasive sponge. If scratched the paint can be 'touched-up' with a spray available on the Bramblecrest website.
For the teak table, remove general surface dirt using warm soapy water and a stiff brush, rinsing off with a hose. To remove stubborn stains we recommend using fine sandpaper when dry. Sand with, not against, the grain. Bramblecrest does not recommend the use of a cover. Bramblecrest does not recommend the use of teak oil - it can make the furniture turn black, sticky and patchy. When left untreated outdoors the teak will gradually mellow to a light silver/grey colour. When left untreated outdoors the teak will become rougher to the touch as the surface grain lifts. Small cracks can appear as teak adjusts to its new environment. Cracks can alter in size according to the ambient temperature and humidity. Cleaning -
We recommend that you clean your garden furniture at the beginning and end of the season.
To clean your furniture, use warm soapy water only. Never use abrasive chemicals or cleaning agents.
Tree sap and bird droppings should be cleaned off immediately.
Storage -
The furniture is able to be left out all year round (excluding cushions).
We recommend using a furniture cover when the item is not in use.
Do not cover the furniture with the cushions still on the set as this may cause dampness to the cushions.
