We are currently looking to recruit an experienced full-time Gardener at Frosts, Willington, Bedfordshire

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• General horticultural and maintenance operations including duties such as, grass mowing, hedge trimming, annual bedding maintenance, leaf, and litter clearance duties.
• Assisting in hard and soft landscaping operations including duties such as, planting, fencing, and paving etc
• Day to day cultivation and maintenance of the garden centres grounds
• Coordinating the development, planting, and on-going care of the centre grounds
• The day-to-day care and maintenance of machinery

The successful applicant will need to be able to:

• Identify common garden plants, pests, and diseases.
• Apply a broad range of horticultural skills.
• Liaise with Centre Managers and prioritise required work.
• Share knowledge and information with others.
• Have an enthusiastic, positive, and flexible approach to work.

The following areas of knowledge and experience are considered essential requirements:

• Good general knowledge of horticulture
• Good plant management skills with knowledge of cultivated plants and weeds

This role involves some heavy lifting and working outside throughout the year.

PA1/ PA6 spray license and Fork lift license are both preferable but not essential.
