Bulbs and seeds
Planting flower bulbs and seeds and seeing them flower later is one of the most satisfying sights for gardeners. How amazing is it after the winter to see the first cheerful spring bulbs again? Even in the summer, planting the right bulbs at the right time can transform your garden.
It is important to plant the right bulb at the right time:
Planting spring bulbs
- Early spring bloomers indicate the start of spring. For many people this is a happy moment which marks when days will become longer and brighter! Great Spring bulbs include Snowdrops and Tulips.
Planting summer bulbs
- Don't just think that bulbs are only for spring, summer flowering bulbs brighten up the garden in the summer too, think Gladiolus and Dahlias.
By choosing the right flower bulbs and seeds you can optimally enjoy blooming flowers in the garden. If you alternate summer flowers and spring flowers, you can enjoy a blooming garden all season.
Frosts has a large selection of seeds available in the garden centres. Think for example of flower seeds. With a small effort you can make the colourful garden that makes everyone happy. You can also use seeds for vegetable gardens, flower pots, the greenhouse or part of the garden. Seeds have become even more popular due to the grow your own trend of recent years - this is great fun for the kids too!
