Overview

At Frosts Garden Design, we have an experienced team that ensure all of the projects are managed efficiently and tidily and that the day to day work is carried out to the highest possible standard. We offer a professional and yet personal service to minimise disruption whilst work is carried out. Our Landscape Designers can offer expert advice on any aspect of your garden, whether it is new or established. Design plans, plant selection, remodelling and renovation are all included in our service to help create a truly individual garden.

The process

  • Site VisitInitial Site Visit and Consultation
    This will involve a meeting with one of our designers to discuss your ideas and requirements. Following this meeting, our designers will confirm the design fees.
  • Site VisitLayout Design
    Our designers will prepare a tailored, scaled design detailing all of the hard and soft landscaping features to be included in your future garden.
  • Site VisitQuotation
    Once a layout design has been finalised to your complete satisfaction, we will be pleased to provide a free itemised quotation and specification.
  • Site VisitConstruction
    Upon acceptance of our quotation, we will schedule the work and the project will be undertaken by one of our experienced teams.
  • PlantingPlanting
    After discussion, the plants for your garden are usually selected by our plant experts without the need for a formal planting plan.

Typical costs

Our charge for an initial site visit and consultation or advisory visit will be £60.00 + VAT within a 20 mile radius of our garden centres. For distances in excess of this, £10.00 + VAT is added for each additional 10 miles travelled to site.The cost of the layout design will be confirmed after the initial site visit and consultation and is based on the extent and complexity of the design required. Typical layout designs start from £250.00 + VAT with an average garden costing in the region of £400.00 + VAT. Should you instruct us to proceed with the full construction of the garden, we would refund 50% of the layout design cost against the final invoice.
