Specimen Tree Planting

The addition of a beautiful specimen shrub or large tree can add instant impact to your garden.  However, if you are not sure how to set about planting your specimen, or you are uncertain whether the location is totally suitable, Frosts can take all the uncertainty and hard work away by providing an efficient and professional planting service.

After you have made your purchase from our unrivalled range of top quality specimen shrubs and trees, we will agree a mutually suitable time and date for one of our horticultural specialists to make sure that the location you have chosen and your soil type are entirely suitable.

Providing the location visit is satisfactory, the planting will then be carried out by one of our teams of experts.

• The cost of the planting is based on 30% of the full retail price of the tree or shrub, i.e. before any Gardening Club discount is applied.
• Members of the Gardening Club will receive the usual 10% discount on the price of the tree or shrub selected.  This discount does not extend to the planting service itself.
• The minimum planting fee is £75
• Delivery will be charged in accordance with current rates, depending on the distance from the garden centre, and will be advised at the time of taking the order.
• All planting materials will be charged at an additional cost, except for standard above ground staking and tying.
• The service includes a pre-planting visit to your garden.
• All hardy trees and shrubs are covered by Frosts 5 Year Guaranteed to Grow guarantee.  Within the first 12 months this guarantee will include free replacement and free delivery and planting; between years 2-5 the guarantee will include free replacement of the shrub or tree, with delivery and planting chargeable at original rates.
