Fairtrade coffee

The coffee served in our restaurants is called "tiki o café" and is Rainforest Alliance Certified.  This means wildlife is protected and natural resources are conserved in coffee growing regions.  Rainforest Alliance Certification also means a better life for workers, clean and safe working conditions and access to medical care.  Our coffee is also certified organic.  Organic farmers say "no thanks" to unnecessary chemicals and pesticides - good news for plant and animal life.

Coffee prices go up. Coffee prices go down. But Fairtrade contracts mean that Third World coffee producers get a guaranteed minimum price, so they can invest in their communities to improve living and working conditions.
