- by recycling all of our used plant pots and encouraging our customers to do the same, in-store
- by offering our customers a wide range of environmentally friendly products such as peat free compost and water conserving products
- by sourcing local bedding plants to reduce travel miles
- Frosts Woburn Sands is the only Garden Centre in the UK to use a biomass boiler for heating
- by recycling our green waste and converting it to compost
- by offering our customers 'Bags for Life' to reduce disposable bag waste
- by using Rainforest Alliance certified coffee in all of our restaurants and cafes
- by using locally sourced meats - to reduce travel miles
- by using locally sourced produce in all of Garden Room Restaurant and Orchid Cafe
- by offering our customers our 'Homegrown' produce
- by offering our customers our 'Homegrown' Flowers & Plants

84% of the hardy garden plants, 94% of the bedding plants & 99% of our vegetable plants,herbs and fruit, are grown on British Nurseries? - thus reducing travel miles.
By supporting British nurseries we are also providing our customers we plants which are ideal for your garden, as they are grown in British weather conditions - so they are use to our rain, wind and hail!
