Starting with a presentation on the basics of growing your own cut flowers, we’ll take you, step-by-step, through the process of making your own cutting garden. Simply bring photos and measurements of the area you want to transform, and we’ll help you choose the right flowers and layout for your space. You’ll go home with a plan and a purpose.

You don’t have to be Henry Moore to create attractive and interesting sculptures. Using Britain’s birds as our inspiration, we’ll start by demonstrating how easy and fun it can be to make your own figurative wire sculpture – then it’s over to you. You’ll spend the rest of the morning making your sculpture, while we supply all the help or reference material you may need.

You’ll learn how to prepare your garden to encourage safe hibernation, and how to use feeding stations to draw a wide range of birds and other animals throughout the winter. You’ll also learn how to make a cake the birds will love, and you’ll make a recycled bird feeder which you can take home.
