We are currently looking for a Horticultural Manager to join our team and provide specialist plant and garden care knowledge to our customers and staff to ensure our horticultural heritage is maintained and continued into the future. This is a leading role within the management team reporting directly to the Garden Centre Manager.
You will be an expert in your field with a recognised qualification in Horticulture and strong commercial and planning skills. You will have proven people management skills and be able to motivate and develop your team. You will also be responsible for the management of health, safety and security procedures. Previous management experience within a retail environment is essential for this role.
This position is full time and will require you to work a 10 day fortnight, including alternate weekends. A competitive salary and benefits package is available.

This is an important role, that will ensure that the buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard. This is a ‘hands on’ role. You will also need to co-ordinate external contractors and lead the estates team. As well as ensuring the buildings are maintained you would also work with our Horticulturist Specialist to ensure our grounds are presented to the highest standards. Previous experience will be essential. However, training can be given on spraying, strimming, fork lifts etc.
You will be working a 10 day fortnight, including alternate weekends.

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant / Porter to join our busy Restaurant team. Duties include the
maintenance and operation of the dishwasher and pot wash area.
The ideal candidate will be organised and reliable. Previous experience in a similar position would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training can be given.

We are looking for one full time and one part time Garden Centre Assistant who have outstanding horticultural knowledge to join us on a temporary basis during our busy season. Both roles are based in our Planteria Department and duties will include: providing our customers with sound horticultural advice, merchandising, restocking and general housekeeping. You will be required to work outside in all weathers.
Strong horticultural knowledge is a must; along with good communication skills and a positive approach. Previous experience within a customer service / retail environment would be an advantage.
Full time days/hours involve a 10 day fortnight (including alternate weekends). Part time hours are flexible.
